Policy / Info.

As you know, having good communication is important in any relationship, whether business or personal. We feel as long as we can point out the few rules that are in place (common sense rules), at your call and in the New Customer Information Note you'll receive on the first cleaning, as well the information here at our web site, we both won't need to have contracts locking us into continuing the business relationship.

Therefore this page is important, and we kindly ask you carefully read before we start our relationship.

Our Few Policy's Are...
  • $25.00 fee on any return/stop payment checks.
  • All new jobs; payment (cash) must be out upon the first cleaning. We don't offer credit on the cleaning unless you've been with us for a while.
  • 25% Lock Out Fee. Residential*.
  • Commercial accounts, $25.00 late fee if not received by 17th (30 days from billing).
  • Commercial accounts, 25% cancel fee if under a 30 day notice.

(*This fee is based on if we're locked out the day we arrive, even if we reschedule the cleaning.  We strongly recommend a key on the second cleaning on, to avoid this concern.)

25% fee if we're canceled within 36 hours before the date of your cleaning. 
(Extreme emergencies are acceptable, such as serious health issues, extreme damages, sever weather, etc.)

10% or more Less Quality, on the job if we're to work around people in order to clean.
Time starts when we arrive to clean, and if we're to wait for someone to arrive to let us in, or have to wait to clean a kitchen or bathroom for example, it's off the time allotted on cleaning, not the staffs or the companies.  We would like 'complete' access to 'every' area we're to clean, without having to restructure our cleaning method if all possible please. This way you get exactly what you're paying for (i.e. stay at home mom's and kids).

Our staff has the right to skip a cleaning, if the walk way to enter is covered with snow and/or ice.

Late fee ($25.00 after 30 days) and ALL Collection fees, on any unpaid balances.

Smoking:  None of the staff of Crystal Clean Maids smoke, and some of us here are allergic to it from allergies or asthma. We kindly ask that if you're there while we're cleaning, to please not smoke around us or in the area we're cleaning. We don't mind cleaning properties of people that smoke~ it's smoking while we're there we have concern with and thank you for understanding.

If a home or office is to hot, we gave our staff the okay to not clean under such circumstances. With the charge of 25% fee applying to the account.  If we start cleaning, under these conditions. The cleaning quality most likely will be reduced do to the water rests required (we suggest having a chill in the air for cleaning for best results).

The First Cleaning...
When we give our estimate over the phone. This is based on our years of experience, and our knowledge to determine the first time cleaning cost. We stand at a 99-100% accuracy rating, however from time to time the cost might be to low or high. If our estimate falls short on meeting your application, we will inform you of why, by calling or leaving a note. Same applies if you have a credit, which you can decide to use on the next cleaning or receive a check in the mail.  Following the first cleaning, we will leave behind an estimate on having our service weekly, bi-weekly and monthly. You can decide which of the three you'd like to go with, if at all. If you call once in a great while, there may need to be a new estimate.

We have a cleaning method that is taught in training and a policy we frown on if not used in the design we intended. When this method is derailed with working around people, a repeat or lack in quality is the out come in most cases. We hope you understand.  Our cleaning is second to excellence per each room, and excellence is presented over time.  Having a cleaning service on a regular visit not only presents a daily cleaned look, but if you think about it, saves a lot of time and money in the long run. 

Things We Don't Do...
We don't do laundry, dishes, ironing, washing walls, 
walk or feed animals, water plants or baby sit nor
clean animal or human waste. We also don't
answer phones or move furniture that needs two
people or more to move, or move all furniture (moveable)
each time we come.

Making beds we feel is in the same category as
laundry, however we can consider for the proper fee.

Things We Do...
We clean 'completely' the bathrooms, which includes in and out side of toilets, the sinks, showers, mirrors, shelves, pictures, baseboards, window sills, light switches, door knobs and frames. In the rest of the property (home or office), we clean what was said, as well polish furniture, appliances (outside), scrub sinks, polish cabinets, front and back door/s (inside and out). Cob webs, ceiling fans (if reachable), vacuum {furniture} and mop all floors. Everything in each room is cleaned excluded the washing of walls. Marble and granted counters are polished.

We also offer  as extra to clean inside of appliances, all windows inside and outside if they tilt in, make beds and perhaps basement and garage (depending) with request for an additional fee.

Our Cleaning Products...
Pledge, Murphy's Oil Soap, Soft Scrub, Clorox Bathrrom Cleaner, Windex, Tilex, Shower Power, 409, Lysol Toilet Cleaner, Mr. Clean and Bounty Paper Towels.

If you would like a certain product used, please leave it out on the counter the day we arrive or let us know where we can find it and we'll use that.


Us Canceling The Cleaning...
From time to time, we will have to cancel the cleaning. We do try our best to give you ample notice, but under the circumstances of bad weather, being ill or accidents; last minute canceling are impossible to avoid. We don't have any incentive if we cancel, but we will make it a priority to clean your home as soon as possible around that date. This rarely happenings since all of the staff realize there is no pay if there is no work, and we're all geared to try our best not to cancel and appreciate your understanding if we have to. Our record on canceling is extremely low, or better yet, there's a 99% chance your job won't be canceled.

Holidays...
Such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and Day, and the 4th. of July as well as Labor Day will be canceled. We will do our best to move your cleaning to before or after these events and will try our very best to schedule the cleaning around.

You Canceling The Service...
We ask for ample time of notice if you're planning to cancel one time, or for good. We would respect letting you know ahead of time, and we kindly ask for the same. If you cancel by email, please consider the notice received ONLY if we reply, in the event the email did not get to us. Canceling by phone is much more reliable and doesn't need a follow up reply to confirm.  Please make sure you give your full name, that the account is under.

We Accept Credit Cards...
However, you must be a regular customer* (30 days or more) before we'll accept payment through VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover or Debit Card (w/ the VISA or Master Card logo).

A convenience fee will apply per transaction (please contact us for additional fees applied) and must match the name and address of account on the card being used. There is no penalty to cancel. Payment charge will show as Crystal Clean Maids, LLC. A signed agreement will be required.

* Regular customer: weekly, bi-wkly or monthly.
